My name is Alexandra Do Rosario, my pronouns are she/her, I was born and raised in Boston Massachusetts, specifically around Dorchester area, up until I recently moved toward Brockton area of Mass where I now commute to and from campus. I am in my second year of college as a biology major.

I used to be more into literature and specifically reading books when I was younger and just happened to find myself doing other things outside of that hobby as I have gotten older.

One piece of art that I relate to mostly now is music. Music is a part of my everyday life, I am always listening to it doing daily things like showering, driving, studying, and even when I am just relaxing. I listen to different genres and artists depending on what I am doing and my mood in the moment, but I mostly lean towards newer and older R&B. One of my current favorite songs is Kiss of Life by Sade and I love this song because it’s one of those that can be played in any setting. It always makes me feel like taking a moment to take a breath and not be consumed by what I am thinking or trying to do. The instruments in the song make the rhythm feel calming and I grew up listening to music like this, so it feels like a classic.

The message I receive from this song is to pause and really endeavor whatever moment I am in and feel that everything is happening for a reason.
