My name is Adama Toure Samake, I am 37 years old married, I have 5 kids and originally from west Africa in Ivory coast (Cote d’ivoire). I am IT and MANAGEMENT MAJOR, second year at UMass Boston. My entire live is literature( all high school and some university classes were typically literature, that forge me to be a good reader, critical thinker and analyst. I can easily convert an art into expressive writing and interpret including connection a song into our reality world. I am also a U.S ARMY Veteran who served for 6 years got separate for severe injuries from duties, I have been in rehab for 2 years, I thank God am here today to learn more. The major literature genre that i like is narrative and nonfiction and argumentation because they highlight the truth sharing about our culture norms, society challenges.

SHORT STORY

There is some sacrifice you can make, you won’t forget about them. this occurs on January 2020 during my Military training last which make me understand the important to stand and defend your country. Fort Jackson at that cold and freezing was pushing the future defenders of United States of America, we have been marching more than 20 miles to reach the higher Army training, on the field the reality i truck everyone; sleeping inside the sleeping bags, freezing temperature outside. We were all standing guard and protect our squad during the night time. i was the second person to do so, when i woke up for my turn, out of the confort hot bag, the first cold wind that blew on me made my body tremble without my permission ad i could not control what was happening. from there, i realize that there is not vain sacrifice, the most important one you made for your country. i remember all U.S soldiers fallen on field defending the country. ROGER ALL.
